Parents' Club at The Fay School
Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at The Fay School! We would like to welcome back our returning families and extend a special welcome to our new families.
At The Fay School, we have a strong tradition of parent involvement. It is this parent involvement and commitment to our children that sets Fay apart from other schools. Fay parents are not required to volunteer; rather, parents tend to welcome the opportunity to become an invaluable part of the community that is molding their children’s minds, hearts, and personalities.
You will find parents in the library helping our librarian find the perfect book for your child. You will find parents in Fay’s outdoor classroom and backyard habitat helping facilitate your child’s exposure to the bountiful plant and animal life provided by our beautiful 3.5 acres of land containing nature trails along the bayou. You will find parents leading events that enrich the school and make it special—Grandparents’ Day, grade level plays, Book Fair, Gala, Halloween and Year-End Carnivals. The opportunities at Fay for parent engagement are plentiful, engaging, successful, and fun. We invite you to join us in the enriching and often inspiring world that is parent volunteering at Fay.
It is our honor to serve as this year’s Parents’ Club co-chairs and our first obligation is to make sure that anyone who has an interest in volunteering has the opportunity to do so. We hope to work with each one of you to ensure a nurturing and successful year for our children.
Please feel free to contact us directly, or contact Fay’s Advancement Office, if you are interested in volunteering in any capacity. Parent volunteerism means so much to our school and is a wonderful way to connect with all members of our Fay community—students, teachers, administrators, and other parents.
We thank you for your consideration and look forward to a great year of working together.
