The Fay School Annual Events
Throughout the year Fay hosts a variety of events designed to celebrate, build community, and support the school. Many of these are uniquely Fay, so please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our exciting annual calendar of events! We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we take the necessary precautions to keep our community safe and healthy. We will communicate updates as we are able.
This new Fay tradition is a celebration for all families to kick off our school year. The backyard is transformed into a huge play area with carnival games, bouncies, and more. Be sure to show up to this event to kick the year off with a bang!
Beginning at 6:30pm there will be a brief presentation to parents and afterwards, all parents will go to their children’s classrooms for presentations by the teachers. Please note this event is split by grade into two nights to ensure we can easily accommodate all families on campus and each night will include only one session.
The Halloween Carnival is for Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students. Students in these grades are encouraged to come to school in an appropriate Halloween costume to enjoy our annual parade followed by carnival games and activities.
The 2021-2022 Fay Book Fair will be held in person and online this year through Barnes & Noble from Thursday, November 18 to Friday, November 19, 2021. During these two days, the students and their families are encouraged to visit Barnes & Noble at 2030 West Gray Street to purchase books and other qualifying merchandise. All families and grandparents will receive an invitation to the Book Fair as well as information on how to donate a book through the Friends of the Library program
The annual Fay School Gala is one of the school's two fundraisers. The Gala is an evening of fun, friends, and most importantly, support for The Fay School. Funds from this evening's auction and table sales go to support a variety of programs and initiatives each year.
Each year The Fay School welcomes grandparents and grand-friends to campus for a wonderful morning of community. The morning will afford grandparents an opportunity to visit with students to see what they have been learning in class and a chance to hear from Fay’s Leadership Team.
