The Fay School's application deadline for first-round admission consideration is January 20, 2025, for the 2025-2026 school year.

Yes! After our first-round application deadline, all applications will be considered on a rolling basis.

The Fay School's Admissions Office can receive an application anytime after an applicant's date of birth.

No! We give all applications submitted before the first-round admissions deadline equal consideration.

After going through the admission process and it is deemed that the child is mission appropriate, we will prioritize current Fay families and do our best to keep siblings together.

All parents are encouraged to schedule a tour the fall before their child is eligible to enroll at The Fay School. To schedule a tour, please submit an inquiry form or application and select a preferred tour time from your assigned checklist.

A group visit is when a group of prospective students are invited to campus. The group visits provide The Fay School with the opportunity to meet your child in a Fay classroom setting. Typically, these group visits are designed for first-round applicants who are applying to Primary - First Grade.

A school visit is when your child is invited to visit a Fay classroom during the school day, with current Fay students. The school visits provide Fay with the opportunity to meet your child. Typically, these school visits are scheduled for children to apply to The Fay School after the first round application deadline or for applicants applying to Second - Fifth Grade.

Admissions Decision Letters are emailed out the first week of March for the first-round applicants. 

The Common Reply Date (CRD) for all members of the Houston-Area Independent Schools (HAIS) varies each year. The CRD for the 2025-26 school year is March 26, 2025. After the CRD, The Fay School's Admissions Office will offer spaces to the applicants in the wait pool.

The Fay School campus comes alive when students are learning in our academic oasis. That said, the optimal time to schedule an individual tour of The Fay School is when school is in session. While deferring your tour to when school is in session, we offer limited tour times throughout the summer months. Please email Director of Admissions, Megan Bryan, to learn more about scheduling your tour.

An Evergreen Enrollment Contract is a simplified re-enrollment process that eliminates annual contracts. Once a student enrolls at Fay, they are assumed to be enrolled through graduation unless the family notifies Fay by submitting the Student Withdrawal Form.

Evergreen Enrollment Contracts streamline our processes to serve our Fay Family better. Evergreen Enrollment Contracts reflect the expectation that a child’s experience at Fay is a relationship that lasts through graduation.

If your situation changes and your child(ren) will not be attending Fay for an upcoming school year, you must submit a Student Withdrawal Form before May 1 to avoid a 50% Tuition Commitment for the upcoming school year. Without a Student Withdrawal Form before June 1, a family is obligated to pay 100% tuition.

Tuition and fees for the upcoming school year are posted in January. The information is shared with current families via an email from Fay. The information is also updated on The Fay School's website.

Yes, you will need to complete one Evergreen Enrollment Contract for each child enrolled at The Fay School.

Fay offers various payment plans detailed in the contract. Every January, each family must select their preferred tuition payment schedule.

Yes. Tuition assistance will continue to be an annual process and families must submit new applications each year. The online application is accessible through The Fay School's website.
