The Role of The Fay School's Board of Trustees

The Fay School Board of Trustees plays a vital role in the Fay story. Comprised of a composition of both current and alumni parents, the Board donates their time to actively support and promote Fay’s mission, vision, strategic goals, and policy. The Board has fiduciary responsibility to the school for sound financial management. Our Board is quite active, working collectively as a board, as well as in various sub-committees including Finance, Advancement, Facilities and Grounds, Governance, and Head Evaluation & Support to ensure that Fay is moving in a strategic and fiscally responsible direction. These individuals bring their passion for our school, along with their individual talents, to work together towards a common goal: the promotion and success of The Fay School within the Houston educational landscape while aligning with the principles of good practice of the National Association of Independent Schools. Thank you to those who have served on the Board of Trustees throughout Fay’s history. Fay stands on the shoulders of the strategic vision current, and former Board members have set in motion.
