The Fay Art Show takes place during Publisher’s Picnic in May and showcases a piece of art from each student in grades K-5. Volunteers are needed to help mount, hang, and showcase art for these two special days!
Book Fair is a three-day event that encourages a love of reading in our students and supports The Fay School library through the purchase of books and media resources. The committee works to prepare for the event, staff the fair, and manage the purchase of books for the library.
Parent volunteers transform the campus for the changing seasons and special holidays. If you are interested in joining the chairs in this semi-annual work, please don't hesitate to contact us!
This committee will be responsible for maintaining and organizing the Clothing Nook and Lost & Found. The Clothing Nook is where families can purchase gently used uniforms at a discounted price.
The Fay Fair is the last opportunity of each school year for all Fay students to come together and enjoy our great community. This committee works to make sure that every Fay student ends the year on a high note with rides, games, and great food all on our own beautiful campus! Consider joining this group to help plan, work, and support this great event.
Fay’s very own field day is a great morning event for students in grades K through 5 and we need plenty of parent volunteers to help us out! From keeping the stations moving, to record keeping, sign up to help out our physical education faculty.
The annual Gala is an evening of celebration, support, and is the school’s largest fundraising event! Each year, a celebration and auction ensures a night of fun all the while providing generous support for The Fay School programs. This committee works to plan and execute this annual spring event. Volunteers are needed to help secure silent and live auction items, prepare for the event, and help set up the day of. There are many opportunities at every level of commitment for the Gala and we need a big group of great volunteers to ensure another huge success!
In April, we invite all our Fay grandparents to campus to share the morning with their grandchildren. This warm event is made possible by a committee of dedicated volunteers who ensure that every grandparent is welcomed to campus and enjoys the time they spend here.
This committee supports the Outdoor Education component of Fay’s curriculum. Committee members will work alongside Fay’s Principal and Dean of Students to prepare outdoor education activities involving the Fay Forest, Chicken Coop, Fay Farms and Fay environmental responsibility.
The Halloween Carnival is for Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students during the school day. Students in these grades are encouraged to arrive at school in costume for the carnival! While the event is for students, if you are interested in volunteering, please visit with your room parent or the carnival chairs.
This committee supports all room parents by coordinating the communications to each classroom.
This group of parents helps in the library to re-shelve books, catalog new books, straighten shelves, and assist in checkouts during library days for classes.
If you have a digital camera and are interested in providing the pictures you take of your child’s class for use in Fay’s publications, this is the group that needs you! We need help in each grade level to make sure we have all the great pictures we use for yearbook, scrapbook, and other publications. We collect all the pictures through Vidigami and the more the better!
Each year, classes come together to produce a collection of pictures from all the year’s events and classroom activities. This group works with the photographers to coordinate the completion of memory books and the distribution of ordered books at the end of each year.
Twice a year this group comes together to provide lunch and thanks for all our great Fay teachers and staff! This committee needs assistance in coordinating and hosting the two lunches.
